Like the old cassette players, our players have fast-forward and rewind buttons, a headphone output, a volume control, and an audio input so you can create your own mixtapes. But because you have to move with the times, we've incorporated a few modern details.
First, we replaced the batteries with a rechargeable lithium battery that allows for up to 12 hours of continuous playback. This is more convenient and environmentally friendly.
We've also included Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, so you can connect the player to your headphones or wireless speakers in seconds. It might not sound like much, but it's a world first!
On the audio side, our engineers worked hard to optimize the mechanism to come as close as possible to the best of its time. And the result is impressive. You won't find anything better on the market today!
Finally, we also paid special attention to the design and the materials used. As with the very first Sony Walkman, the TPS-L2, we avoided plastic and opted for an aluminum casing to achieve a "cool touch" and a genuine feeling of quality.
